Product Implementation & Service TechnicianThe Product Implementation & Service Technician is a key member of the New Product Introduction (NPI) Team, responsible for the development, release, implementation, and support of new DCS product lines. Reporting directly to the Technical Support Manager, this role will lead customer installations, operator training, troubleshooting, and field service for high-end DCS printing systems.This position requires a highly motivated technical professional capable of exercising independent judgment, solving complex technical problems, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.The Product Implementation & Service Technician works closely with engineering, technical support, operations, and customers to ensure successful product launches and long-term customer success.Technical ResponsibilitiesPerform advanced installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and customer training on DCS equipment.Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, software, and print-related issues.Provide detailed technical feedback and recommendations to the NPI Team for continuous product improvement.Develop and maintain strong troubleshooting and diagnostic processes.Travel to customer sites for installations, training, preventative maintenance, and service visits.Operate independently in fast-paced field environments while maintaining professionalism and technical excellence.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and product transitions across departments.Maintain a high level of product knowledge across all assigned DCS technologies.Support mission-critical customer equipment with urgency and attention to operational readiness.Customer Service ResponsibilitiesDeliver a professional, customer-focused experience during all customer interactions.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term success and satisfaction.Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.Recommend improved methods and best practices related to installations, training, and service processes.Independently manage assigned workload while maintaining responsiveness, accountability, and professionalism.Represent DCS positively during all customer-facing interactions.Administrative ResponsibilitiesComplete required service documentation, reports, logs, and internal communication accurately and on time.Maintain performance expectations related to response times, repair quality, and customer satisfaction.Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.Assist with additional technical and operational tasks as assigned.Qualifications & SkillsStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities required.Experience with industrial equipment, printing systems, electronics, CNC equipment, automation systems, or related technologies preferred.Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions in the field.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Strong organizational and time-management abilities.Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and handling multiple priorities.Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
