The Engineer will enhance and maintain a highly configurable, multi-tenant, enterprise class, SaaS solution that incorporates cross-organizational collaborative workflows, data integration, and a rich user interface built on a complex data model. This role will work primarily on issues and enhancements coming from the team’s charter, which is ensuring a stable, scalable, supportable platform.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop, test, and maintain scalable and reliable SaaS applications and platforms, focusing on both backend and frontend tasks.\nDesign and implement software architecture to support multi-tenant environments and ensure high availability.\nWrite clean, efficient, well-documented code and conduct regular code reviews for quality assurance.\nManage and automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines and monitor application performance in production.\nImplement and enforce security best practices to protect data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.\nWork closely with product managers and designers to gather requirements and understand user needs, integrating feedback into the development process.\nOptimize application performance through profiling, tuning, and implementing caching and database strategies.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation for system architecture and operational procedures.\nProvide training to team members as needed.\nStay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, proposing and implementing improvements to enhance the SaaS platform.\nAssist in diagnosing and resolving customer issues, offering support for debugging and fixing bugs.\nParticipate in Agile/Scrum practices such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as well as managing project timelines and deliverables effectively.\nRequirements\nQualifications:\n5+ years of hands-on experience building web-based enterprise Java applications\nExtensive experience with database modeling and concepts; Oracle experience a plus\nFamiliarity with a wide variety of open source tools and libraries\nExperience with the full software development life cycle, including a strong quality focus, and demonstrable success with design reviews, code reviews, and unit testing\nTechnical expertise building Java-based enterprise applications that are as robust as they are easy to use\nEffective communications skills honed refining requirements and solving complex problems within a collaborative team environment\nThe capacity for viewing the big picture while consistently delivering product in a hands-on development position\nExperience with full stack modern web application architecture in a commercial software development environment\nExperience using agile software development methodology\nExperience with Spring and Angular frameworks\nExperience debugging complex applications\nExpertise with Java based web services\nBasic Linux system administration skills\nOracle PL/SQL skill\nAbility to quickly come up to speed on a complex technical architecture\nDesire to contribute in a fast-paced, iterative development environment\n\nPreferred Qualifications/Skills/Soft Skills:\nResults oriented, product focused, and at ease in an environment requiring the ability to quickly and appropriately prioritize conflicting demands\nStrong analytical skills, and excellent verbal and written communications skills\nHigh degree of initiative consistently demonstrated by the active ownership of complex problems through their successful resolution\nTeam player eager to work closely with, learn from, and mentor others while continually improving self and team\nInnately curious about new technologies and their practical application in a startup environment\nFlexibility and willingness to pitch in and wear more than one hat in a dynamic organization\n\nWhy Join Us:\nAt Aravo Solutions, Inc., we offer a dynamic and inclusive work environment where employees are encouraged to innovate, grow, and make a meaningful impact.
