In this role, you will provide personalized instruction in calculus and related fields, including trigonometry, differential equations, and higher-level math topics.\n\nYour expertise will help students build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and achieve academic success.\n\n*Responsibilities*\n\n* Deliver engaging one-on-one or group tutoring sessions focused on calculus and associated subjects such as algebra, geometry, and statistics\n* Develop customized lesson plans that align with students’ individual learning goals and curriculum requirements\n* Utilize learning technology tools to enhance understanding and facilitate interactive learning experiences\n* Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies accordingly to maximize comprehension\n* Foster a positive, encouraging environment that promotes curiosity and active participation\n* Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, student progress, and lesson plans for ongoing evaluation\n\n*Qualifications*\n\n* Earned Bachelor's degree\n* Proven experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics at various educational levels, including higher education or adult education settings\n* Strong knowledge of calculus, trigonometry, differential equations, algebra, geometry, statistics, and related fields such as organic chemistry or microbiology is highly desirable\n* Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques\n* Proficiency with learning technology platforms and computer skills to support interactive instruction\n* Experience working with children, students with special needs, or in early childhood education is a plus\n* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively\n* Demonstrated ability to motivate students and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles\n\nPay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour\n\nBenefits:\n* Employee discount\n* Flexible schedule\n* Referral program\n\nApplication Question(s):\n* This position in-person tutoring based from our learning center in Hingham, MA.
