This role oversees accounting operations, budgeting, forecasting, audit coordination, and financial performance reporting. The Controller III partners closely with operational leadership to support decision-making, improve business processes, and drive financial accountability across the organization.\n\nResponsibilities:\nDirect and oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, financial reporting, accounts receivable, cash management, fixed assets, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.\nEnsure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of financial records and reporting.\nOwn the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting process, ensuring alignment with business objectives.\nPrepare and present monthly management reports, financial analyses, and key performance indicators to operational leadership.\nPartner with business leaders to evaluate financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support operational decision-making.\nOwn the organization's accounting policies, procedures, and internal control environment to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company standards.\nCoordinate and lead external and internal audit activities, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.\nLead finance initiatives focused on standardization, process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.\nMonitor working capital performance, cash flow, and key financial metrics.\nManage, coach, and develop accounting personnel while ensuring adequate cross-training and succession readiness within the team.\nSupport business transactions, acquisitions, system implementations, and other strategic initiatives as needed.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required. CPA or CMA required.\nMaster's degree preferred.\n8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership responsibility.\nPublic accounting (audit) experience preferred.\nAdvanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit practices.\nDemonstrated experience leading accounting operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting functions.\nStrong proficiency with ERP accounting systems, financial reporting tools, databases, and Microsoft Office applications; Infor and/or Lawson experience preferred.\nProven ability to build relationships with operational leaders and influence business decisions.\nStrong analytical, communication, leadership, and project management skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a complex business environment.\nTravel required between office and operational locations.\nSpanish and/or Portuguese language skills are a plus.\n\nWorking conditions: * The physical demands below describe what is generally required to perform this job.
