CAREER OPPORTUNITYASSOCIATE ATTORNEY (Law and Motion) A reputable, fast-growing law firm practicing employment law is seeking to fill a full-time Law and Motion Associate Attorney. We are looking for confident, energetic, and sharp attorneys who are quick-on-their-feet thinkers, and aggressive creative litigators for adversarial, fast-paced litigation. Area of Practice: Exclusively labor and employment matters, on behalf of employees in California, with focus on wage and hour class/PAGA actions and single-plaintiff employment lawsuits. Title: Associate Attorney (Law and Motion) Location: Los Angeles, CA (on-site preferred; may consider hybrid) Hours: Full-Time. We do not require any minimum billable hours. Salary: $110,000-$150,000+ (Commensurate with Experience) License Requirements: Active California State Bar license required, with no disciplinary history. Experience: At least 1 year of experience handling law and motion briefing and argument strongly preferred. Experience in plaintiff or defense side employment law, wage & hour, and Class/PAGA actions is a plus. Duties and Responsibilities: Draft legal documents such as motions, briefs, and pleadings, including but not limited to motions for preliminary and final approval of class/PAGA action settlements Attend hearings and argue motions in court/arbitration Conduct legal research and analysis Assist in client meetings Manage caseloads and ensure deadlines are met Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards Benefits: Full premium covered for full-time employees including health, dental and vision (50% of premium covered for eligible dependents), 3 weeks paid vacation, generous holiday schedule – extended Christmas closure, and 401K, among other perks. Computer Skills Preferred: Microsoft Word/ Excel/Outlook Adobe Acrobat/Apple Operating System Clio/Other software’s Language Skills: Fluent in English (spoken & written). Spanish is a plus.
