Vishay Duluth is currently seeking applicants for a R&D Tech - Level 1 or 2.\nJob Location:\nThis position will be on-site at the Duluth, MN facility, near Airpark blvd and Haines Road.\n\nWhat you will be doing:\nUses schematics, diagrams, and verbal descriptions to perform testing of products and equipment.\nUses test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test equipment in support of R&D engineering.\nBuild prototypes and related hardware including test fixtures, mechanical enclosures, assembly jigs and production tooling.\nProduction line engineering support leader – addresses equipment issues and line-down situations.\nPerforms qualification testing on new products.\nPerforms Xray analysis on space grade products.\nObeys all work rules and EHS regulations as valid for the work task(s) assigned.\nOther duties as assigned\nWhat you will bring along:\nExperienced with operation of electrical engineering test equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, power supplies. Understands electrical schematics and wiring diagrams and the general characteristics of electronic components. Skilled with hand soldering, PCBA construction, and the use common shop tools. Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures.\nAssociate degree in engineering technology from an ABET accredited college or technical school or equivalent military related training with 0-3 years of prior related experience.
