DepartmentStatus:Benefits EligibleNoHours Per Week0Schedule Details/Additional InformationPRN hours-flexible schedulePay Range$19.80 - $29.70Job DescriptionOpportunity for a student in their final year of an accredited Sonographer or Ultrasound program to work around their class and clinical schedule to experience on the job training and get paid!Position HighlightsLocation: Winston Salem, NC / High Point, NCPRNWhat You'll NeedHigh school diploma or GED equivalent.Current enrollment in an AMA or CMA accredited program in diagnostic ultrasound required.CPR certification through American Heart Associate or American Red Cross required.What You'll DoAdheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building. Follows hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Assumes responsibility for keeping informed about changes in policies and procedures. Participates in departmental in-service and educational offerings. Contributes to the overall quality of services.Performs or assists in performing quality ultrasound examinations in a timely and efficient manner while under the supervision and/or direction of a staff Sonographer, ensuring consistent workflow and high level of productivity.Schedules procedures and maintains appropriate records that contribute to the efficiency of department operations.
