This role sits on our Analytics team and will report directly to the Head of Analytics.\n\nThe ideal candidate:\n\nHas a strong interest in using data to understand and address business and user problems\n\nCan manage a diverse set of stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment on analytical priorities\n\nIs curious about how users engage with a product, and what this might mean for what the business should build or prioritize next\n\nIs self motivated and can unblock themselves when the perfect dataset isn’t readily available or the business question isn’t clearly articulated\n\nDives deeply into ambiguous questions, and refines them into clear problem statements that address what the business really cares about or what really matters to our users\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nWork closely with PED to set goals, understand how users are engaging with our product, and learn from experiments in our two-sided marketplace\n\nDevelop measurement frameworks and institute new metrics or reporting systems to help us understand our marketplace and users\n\nAlign cross-functional stakeholders on the priorities and analytical roadmap for critical areas of our business\n\nDesign and analyze experiments\n\nDive deep on user behavior and the dynamics of our marketplace\n\nUnpack business trends and diagnose drivers of business performance\n\nCollaborate with the rest of the Analytics and Data Engineering teams and the broader data community to grow and nurture data culture at Peerspace\n\nTechnical Environment:\n\n- Databases: Google BigQuery\n\n- Tooling: dbt Cloud, Airflow, Git\n\n- BI Tool: Tableau, Statsig (for A/B testing)\n\n- Languages: SQL, Python\n\n Qualifications:\n\n5+ years of experience in data science, product analytics, or similar functions\n\nStrong SQL skills and comfort working with large datasets\n\nExperience building visualizations with Tableau, Looker or similar BI platforms\n\nProficient in communicating insights to business partners\n\nAbility to manage cross-functional stakeholders and prioritize an analytics roadmap in a dynamic environment with competing priorities\n\nExperience applying statistics and experiment design in a business context\n\nExperience in at least one data-oriented language like Python, R or Julia\n\nBachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Engineering)\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nExperience with another two-sided marketplace\n\nExperience applying causal inference, predictive modeling or other advanced statistical methods in a business context\n\nWorking At Peerspace\n\nThe annual salary range for this role is $165,000 to $175,000.
