We have a current opening in our Production Control for a Material Handler & Box Truck Driver.\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nUnder general supervision this position is responsible for storing, retrieving, and distributing materials, tools, and equipment in the main facility and the warehouse.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nThe following is an outline of the basic duties and responsibilities of the position identified above. It describes the duties and responsibilities in the broad scope and is not intended to be all-inclusive. Individual(s) in this position may from time to time be assigned other duties as appropriate.\nDrive company box truck between facilities for storing or retrieving material or equipment as requested.\nMoves materials and equipment from storage areas to production or other designated areas using a forklift or pallet jack.\nLoads and unloads ovens.\nMaintains and organizes materials and equipment for easy identification using appropriate methods.\nMay have to make pick-ups or deliveries.\nKeeps warehouse and work area organized at all times.\nUses proper safety equipment.\nQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS\nMust be able to operate various types of forklifts safely.\nMust be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, vendors, and others.\nEDUCATION/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE\nMinimum\nHigh School Graduate (or GED)\nForklift experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.\nClean driving record\nPrior experience driving Box Truck\nPreferred\nOne year of related experience and/or training.\nPlastics industry experience.\nWORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT\nNormal manufacturing environment requiring physical activity such as:\nmay become dirty at times.\nsome exposure to weather extremes.\nEEO Statement\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other legally protected status.\nApplicants with disabilities may be entitled to a reasonable accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act and/or other applicable laws.
