This role emphasizes hands‑on development of AI models, data analysis, and integration of AI capabilities into production systems within a secure federal IT environment.\n\n*This position is contingent upon contract award.*\nJob Duties and Responsibilities: :\nDesign and develop AI models, algorithms, and applications to solve mission‑driven problems.\n\nPreprocess, analyze, and manage large datasets in collaboration with data and product teams.\n\nImplement machine learning and deep learning frameworks.\n\nFine‑tune and optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and accuracy.\n\nIntegrate AI models into enterprise and cloud‑based production systems.\n\nDocument code, models, algorithms, and development processes.\n\nSupport testing, deployment, and ongoing operations of AI solutions.\n\nParticipate in SAFe Agile ceremonies and sprint planning.\n\nStay current with emerging AI technologies, tools, and best practices.\nOther duties as assigned.\nJob Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience)::\nU.S. Citizenship (required). MUST have a NACI or higher background investigation.\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\n\nMinimum eight (8) years of experience.\nExperience developing AI or machine learning solutions.\n\nProficiency in at least one AI/ML programming framework.\n\nExperience working with large datasets and data preprocessing techniques.\nFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies.\nDesired Qualifications:\n\nMaster’s degree in AI, Data Science, or related field.\n\nExperience integrating AI models into production systems.\n\nExperience with cloud‑based AI development environments.\nKnowledge of DevOps or MLOps practices.\n\nExperience supporting federal government or public sector IT programs.\n\nFamiliarity with application security and compliance requirements.\n\nExperience with Azure DevOps or similar delivery management tools.\n\nWork Location: Remote work preferred with occasional on‑site support in Washington, DC, as required.\n\nThis contractor and subcontractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
