You can see some of our favorite projects here.\nStart your journey with OBE and help us build the future.\n\nWhat You'll Get to Do\nThe Material Handler 1 - 2nd shift is focused on moving glass and/or metal products from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates and reports to the Production Supervisor.\nThis role is perfect for an individual who has attention to detail (safety, quality, efficiency), strong work ethic/reliability, and is a problem solver. A vital member of the Shipping Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.\nJob responsibilities include:\nTransport of materials including glass from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours, daily.\nQuality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment.\nPerform different job functions on a rotating basis.\nInspect product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues.\nUtilize a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specifications.\nWhat We Are Looking For\nAbility to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels.\nAbility to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure.\nMust be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule including working weekends as necessary.\nOne year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or production facility, preferred.\nAn uncompromising safety-first approach in the workplace.
