The QA team is made up of Java programmers, QA Engineers and analysts responsible for testing our client's Search, Browse, Data and Recommendations platform.\r\nJob Responsibilities Definition, implementation, and execution of the functional, regression, and acceptance test strategy on highly iterative and collaborative projects.\r\nDeveloping and maintaining test plans and test cases.\r\nEvaluate test results to determine adherence to requirements and conformance to established business processes.\r\nCreate test and defect reports on a weekly basis.\r\nDeploy and test Java applications.\r\nCreate and execute automated tests using Fitnesse.\r\nQualifications Required Qualifications\r\n5+ years of experience in the development and execution of test plans and test scripts and generating QA metrics.\r\nExperience using Fitnesse.\r\nExperience with Hadoop, MapReduce or Big Data / Distributed Computing.\r\nGood understanding of Java environments and architecture.\r\nExperience in UNIX and Windows environments.\r\nGood knowledge of TCP/IP – to deal with connectivity issues within client's cable infrastructure.\r\nKnowledge of programming concepts and practices.
