Force Protection Policy and Planning Analyst Location: On-Site, National Capital Region Employment Category: Full-Time Employee Travel: Yes Deployment: No Drug screening: Yes Security Clearance: Possess an active TS/SCI security clearance. Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen Education: Master’s degree in a relevant field. Required Experience: 8 years of relevant work experience. Preferred Experience: 10 years of relevant work experience. Desired Experience (NOT REQUIRED) Experience producing analytically based recommendations and decision products for senior leaders that represent client-coordinated equities using expertise in multi domain security. Experienced with rapidly preparing high quality decision support and other written material for senior DoD leaders under tight deadlines. Experience and understanding of the Federal interagency and DoD policy development and staffing processes. Experience working in a joint civil/military environment. Understanding and/or familiarization of Agency level policy for Antiterrorism, Force Protection, security, and incident management. Salary: Commensurate on experience. Responsibilities: SANCORP is seeking a Force Protection Policy and Planning Analyst to support of Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Defense Continuity and Mission Assurance (DASD DCMA). The following are examples of responsibilities. Support DoD officials in maintaining the currency of DoD issuances and agreements associated with anti- terrorism policy and programs and in developing new DoD issuances on AT/Force Protection policy and programs and track implementation of new DoD issuances. Research existing policy and procedures to prepare technical assessment reports on specific global AT/FP, and other security topics and provide background, analysis, and recommended courses of action to improve doctrinal publications. Provide planning analysis on DoD security and risk assessment policies, programs, and tactics for DoD force protection and AT programs. Develop technical assessment reports on such programs and associated issues. Evaluate AT / Force Protection (FP) trends and develop recommendations for DoD involvement in improving policy and programs to counter threats to DoD personnel and installations.
