You will be working alongside our Pitmaster, preparing proteins and working our 1000 gallon smokers.\n\nBENEFITS:\n\nHealth Insurance (we pay half!!)\nRoth IRA retirement plan\nPaid Sick Leave (40 hours/year after 90 days employment)\nDiscounted food and beverage during shift\n\"FULL SHIFT PROMISE\": We will not send you home or cut your shift early even if we are slow!\nALL POSITIONS, including cooks and dishwashers, participate in TIP POOL which adds $7-9/hour!!!!!\n\nREQUIREMENTS FOR ALL APPLICANTS:\n\nMust be able to work nights (6:30pm - 3am)\nMust be able to read, write and speak fluent English.\nMust be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and certain holidays.\nMust be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.\nMust be able to bend, stoop, reach above your head and do repetitive hand movements, i.e. chopping, cutting, walking, lifting.\nRequired to wear proper attire.\n__________________________________________________________________________________________________\nAssistant Pitmaster POSITION: This is a full-time position, 40 hours/week. We will never cut your scheduled shift short, even if we are slow! We are looking for cooks who work fast with strong attention to detail, with a desire to serve only THE BEST food. The kitchen is friendly, but the standards are high. You will be responsible for learning and mastering all of our recipes and understanding how to maintain smoker temperature, fire control, getting meat on the smoker, and wrapping it.
