The ideal candidate is a visible, floor-oriented safety professional who actively interacts with employees, identifies risks, leads investigations, and ensures corrective actions are implemented effectively. This individual is committed to continuous improvement and fostering a strong safety-first culture across the site.What will you be doing?As an EHS Coordinator, you will support the EHS Manager in implementing and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs across the facility. Key responsibilities include:Safety Compliance & AuditingConduct regular workplace safety audits and inspectionsEnsure compliance with internal, local, state, and federal regulationsMaintain safety records, documentation, and reporting systemsIdentify hazards, document them in Intelex, and recommend corrective actionsSupport and review changes to facilities, processes, equipment, and raw materials to ensure regulatory and corporate complianceIncident Investigation & ReportingLead and support incident and near-miss investigationsPerform root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, fishbone)Conduct audits independently or with third-party contractorsTrack trends and communicate findings to leadershipTraining & Employee EngagementConduct new employee safety orientationsDeliver EHS training programs and ensure regulatory complianceSupport safety meetings and initiativesPromote employee participation in safety programs and reportingRisk Assessment & Hazard PreventionPerform job safety analyses (JSA/JHA)Identify hazards and recommend effective controlsSupport ergonomic and machine safety improvementsPartner with production and maintenance teams on risk reductionSupport the Process Safety Management (PSM) programSafety Culture DevelopmentPromote a proactive “safety first” culture at all levelsEngage directly with employees on the production floorEncourage hazard and near-miss reportingSupport behavior-based safety initiativesEnvironmental Compliance Support waste management and environmental reportingAssist with spill prevention and responseMaintain environmental compliance documentationContribute to sustainability initiativesWho are You?A proactive, hands-on safety professional who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environmentComfortable working on the production floor and engaging with employees at all levelsDetail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skillsA problem-solver who can identify risks and implement practical solutionsA strong communicator who can influence and promote safe behaviorsWhat competencies will you need?Knowledge of EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, and applicable standards)Experience with safety audits, inspections, and compliance programsIncident investigation and root cause analysis skillsAbility to conduct effective safety training and lead employee engagement initiativesStrong analytical skills to track trends and recommend improvementsFamiliarity with safety management systems (e.g., Intelex or similar platforms)Collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and leadershipCommitment to continuous improvement and building a strong safety cultureWe are Offering...Challenge Yourself and Impact the Future - We are committed to solving the complete and evolving needs of our customers through innovation and high-quality standards.
