The Electrical Assembler works closely with Supervisors, Mechanical Assemblers, Engineering, and Production teams to ensure products are manufactured accurately, efficiently, and on time.\n\nThis role provides an excellent opportunity to build technical manufacturing skills while creating a pathway toward advancement into Lead Electrical Assembler and Manufacturing Leadership positions.\n\nWhat You'll Do:\n\nElectrical Assembly\n\nAssemble electrical components, wiring systems, and switchboard assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.\nInstall wiring, devices, control components, and electrical hardware accurately and efficiently.\nPerform assembly activities in accordance with UL-891 manufacturing standards.\nVerify completed work meets quality and workmanship requirements.\nSupport production schedules through timely completion of assigned tasks.\n\nQuality & Compliance\n\nConduct quality inspections throughout the assembly process.\nIdentify defects, discrepancies, and non-conformances and report them appropriately.\nEnsure assemblies meet customer specifications and engineering requirements.\nParticipate in quality audits and continuous improvement activities.\nMaintain accurate production and quality documentation.\n\nSafety & Workplace Excellence\n\nFollow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.\nMaintain a safe, clean, and organized workstation.\nProperly utilize tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).\nParticipate in safety training, audits, and improvement initiatives.\nReport hazards and safety concerns promptly.\n\nProduction Support\n\nRecord assembly activity and production metrics within Global Shop Solutions (GSS).\nSupport manufacturing efficiency initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.\nCollaborate with Mechanical Assemblers and other departments to maintain production flow.\nParticipate in cross-training activities to support workforce flexibility.\nAssist with new product introductions and manufacturing improvements.\n\nTeam Collaboration\n\nWork closely with Supervisors, Leads, and fellow assemblers to achieve production goals.\nCommunicate production issues and improvement opportunities.\nSupport team objectives while maintaining quality and safety standards.\nParticipate in daily production meetings and department activities.\nContribute to a positive and collaborative workplace culture.\n\nWhat You Bring:\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nTechnical certificate in Electrical Technology or related field preferred.\nMinimum 1 year of electrical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.\nFamiliarity with electrical hand tools and assembly equipment.\nBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.\nStrong attention to detail and quality workmanship.\nExcellent teamwork and communication skills.\nCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday while supporting warehouse operations and inventory activities.\nAbility to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to lift bulky or awkwardly shaped items weighing up to 35 pounds from floor level or above shoulder height.\nAbility to safely perform team lifts for items exceeding individual lifting limits or involving ergonomic challenges such as uneven weight distribution or repetitive motion.\nAbility to work effectively in varying environmental conditions, including heat and cold exposure.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nExperience with UL-891 switchboard manufacturing.\nExperience working in an electrical equipment manufacturing environment.\nFamiliarity with Global Shop Solutions (GSS).\nElectrical Safety Training certification.\nLean Manufacturing or 5S experience.\nBilingual (English/Spanish) is a
