The ideal candidate is self-motivated, energetic, and able to thrive in a high-growth, innovative environment, contributing directly to velocity of the finance organization.\n\nKey Responsibilities and Duties:\n\nOversee the operations of the accounting department, including finance close and SEC reporting, tax, inventory and cost accounting, as well as stock & payroll administration.\nProduction of financial reports and, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records\nMaintaining a comprehensive set of controls\nReview external and internal financial reports including audited financial statements and footnotes and SEC filings, including Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K earnings releases, and other filings\nCoordinate with our independent auditors for quarterly review and annual financial statement audit\nProvide significant deal support for financings, M&A and other strategic transactions, including preparing and reviewing schedules for SEC and other regulatory filings and for use by the deal team\nConduct research, interpretation and implementation of accounting and regulatory guidance and instructions to ensure accurate and relevant disclosures in financial statements and SEC filings\nContribute to development of reporting timelines/help ensure timely deliverables towards each filing.\nExecute and maintain an effective internal control environment, including SOX management oversight\nEstablish and maintain close coordination with finance, legal and other business partners to gather information to ensure proper input into internal and external financial reporting\nContinuously work to enhance and streamline reporting processes and controls, including through the effective use of AI tools\nSupport internal and external audits and regulatory examinations\nAd hoc projects as needed\nAny and all other duties, as assigned\n\nKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics (KSAO’s)\n\nStrong technical accounting, US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements knowledge and abilities\nStrong knowledge of international entities, intercompany reconciliations\nSOX compliance experience\nExperience supporting capital markets, M&A or other strategic transactions, including preparation and review of deal-related schedules and analyses\nKnowledge of Standard Costing; US GAPP guidelines\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the initiative to independently research and resolve issues\nAbility to work cross-functionally to obtain all relevant facts and articulate accounting requirements and conclusions reached\nAbility to write concise technical accounting memos, reports and status updates\nDemonstrated ability to manage a myriad of demands and prioritize effectively\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nMaintains accountability for actions (ownership of work)\nExtremely reliable with the ability to champion tasks\nComfort and ability using AI tools in day-to-day work, with a genuine openness to continuing to build and expand AI skills\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBasic\n\nBachelor’s degree in accounting or finance\nActive CPA\n15+ years accounting experience\nSEC reporting experience (10k and 10Q)\n\nPreferred\n\nMaster’s degree in accounting or finance\nProfessional big 4 accounting firm or similar public accounting experience (not internship)\n\nWhat We Offer\n\nA front-row seat to the future of power electronics.
