The Infrastructure Engineer will provide top level technical support for the definition, development, and integration of service delivery.\nPrimary Job Function:\nRecognize and identify potential areas where existing process and procedures require change to improve service delivery.\nExpertly understand and apply advance system administration, management and performance tuning techniques.\nAct as lead and direct internal and external resources in support of optimization of infrastructure services.\nFunction as technical liaison for Infrastructure related project activities.\nProvide mentoring to fellow engineers, administrators, and others.\nResponsibly communicate all system performance degradation to management in a timely manner.\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation for the systems environment.\nMaintain strict change control of the systems infrastructure.\nProvide other technical services as necessary for the successful completion of projects.\nPerform other incidental and related duties commensurate with this type of position.\nExperience:\nMinimum 5 years equivalent experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server and Exchange in an operations/production environment.\nMicrosoft Certification and experience with Microsoft products including but not limited to: Azure, Azure Stack HCI, Intune and Office 365.\nExperience managing enterprise data protection systems such as Veeam and Data Domain.\nExperience in responding to IT Audits.\nExperience in designing systems and security strategies.\nExtensive understanding of Entra ID/Active Directory and the latest features up through Server 2022 and vNext.\nExperience in a SAN or NAS based environments including HPE Nimble and Dell EMC VNX.\nExperience with Dell and Cisco UCS hardware preferred.\nUnderstanding of network topologies.\nExperience with load balancers.\nExperience with enterprise email security strategies and concepts\nExperience with Root cause analysis and maintaining a knowledge base.\nEducation/Training:\nBachelor’s degree or 5 years of progressive experience preferred.\nCertification with ITIL principals and frameworks.\nMicrosoft Certifications.\nNetwork Certifications (CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, etc.).\nCompetencies:\nDisplay strong inter-personal, verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work well with both peers, contractors and customers under pressure and deadlines.\nDisplay strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines with little to no supervision.\nCreate and maintain best practices, governance and knowledge management.\nDemonstrated experience with superior judgment, problem resolution, cross team collaboration and the ability to work under critical deadline pressure.\nIn-depth understanding of current Microsoft and other enterprise infrastructure technologies.\nDeep understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking management.\nExcellent written and oral communication skills.\nActs as a key contributor in complex and critical environments.\nAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.\nAbility to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.\nHighly self-motivated and directed.\nKeen attention to detail.\nAbility to conduct research into systems issues and products.\nStrong customer service.\nAbility to identify and solve problems quickly and completely - able to network efficiently to source subject matter experts as needed.\nExcellent organizational skills - proficient in managing multiple priorities.\nMakes operational and strategic decisions based on varied inter-departmental sources and applies organizational consensus to solve problems.\nSolves complex problems;
