The Athletic Trainer (AT) will provide performance enhancement, tailored strength and conditioning, preventive maintenance, and referrals to next level medical care if needed.\nThe AT will perform the initial evaluation, design individual training programs, and establish records for all fighter aircrew personnel as well as provide prehabilitative services to individual fighter aircrew with the intention to strengthen the core musculoskeletal (MSK) system to enhance resistance to neck and back injury.\nThe AT will also help design a MSK strengthening and healthy lifestyle education program as part of an overall health maintenance program to enhance injury resistance.\nThe AT will advise unit commanders and individuals on matters related to injury prevention and identify opportunities for improvement, develop protocols and standard operating procedures (SOP) for fitness programs.\nQualifications:\nMust show recency within the last 2 years consistent with DHA PM\nAND\n2+ years of experience as a Licensed Athletic Trainer in collegiate (or higher), professional, or tactical athletics; aerospace industry, test pilot/astronaut or similar man-machine high-performance environment.\nSecurity Requirement:\nMust be able to pass a background check to be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CaC).\nEducation:\nGraduated from an Athletic Training Education Program, Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE)\nAND\nMaster's degree in Exercise Science, Health Science, Athletic Training, Health Profession or Physical Education related discipline. Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC)\nCertifications:\nCurrent certification in basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), including Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Training.\nThe anticipated hiring range for this position is $55,000 to $58,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, internal equity, and geographic location.\nBENEFITS\nSolvere offers a comprehensive and generous benefits package.
