We encourage applications from people with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences.Consider a career at WMG and get the best of both worlds an innovative global music company that retains the creative spirit of a nimble independent.The A&R department at Warner Records Group is responsible for both finding and developing musical artists to sign as well as producing artists and driving creative content for all forms of media.Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to) handling all administrative aspects of work for an Executive of A&R at Warner Records as well as more detailed project management and independent projects on various levels. Requires a committed, flexible, proactive, organized, and independent person who is willing to engage in typical administrative/clerical duties as well as more complex project work related to all aspects of the record-making process.Here you'll get to:Manage and schedule the executive's numerous day-to-day events such as- setting up conference calls, running point for in-person meetings, and coordinate their calendar, scheduling, and meeting logisticsReceive and direct visitors and make the office a welcoming environmentHandle the executive's timeliness by ensuring they are timely for each call and meeting, take diligent notes in meetings, and build action item lists where neededServe as a reliable contact between internal and external partners, communicate high priorities to the executive in a timely mannerPrepare correspondence (memos, emails) as required; Read and speak to materials and documents, recognize critical data and information, and effectively communicate vital informationProcess and maintain T&E expenses for the executive via ConcurCoordinate frequent travel for executives and artists both domestic and internationallyComplete ad hoc projects, as needed, for executiveUphold and conduct work within the standards and procedures of the company's Code of Conduct and core valuesPartner with Facilities and IT to ensure the offices of executives and Company are maintained and conference rooms are in working orderHandle general office duties such as processing packages, mail, and keeping stock of general office suppliesAbout you:0-2 years of administrative experienceStrong understanding of recording, production, and creative side of the businessGeneral knowledge of key industry players and familiarity with all musicWork independently and take initiativeExcellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and deadlinesHandle confidential matters appropriately and with discretionStrong attention to detailMulti-task: prioritize with the appropriate sense of urgencyAbility to pinpoint problems and determine solutionsExpertly collaborate with all levels of the organization, clients, and vendorsAccurate filing and maintenance of musicExperience or solid understanding of the music industryWe'd love it if you also had:Undergraduate degreeExperience with Google WorkspaceTogether, we are Warner Music Group: Independent Minds.
