{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"f2cc4ae6f3af2f0ddcfaa557","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f2cc4ae6f3af2f0ddcfaa557","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f2cc4ae6f3af2f0ddcfaa557","title":"Material Handler","description":"*Materials Handler*\n\n*Contract – Onsite in Salinas OR San Jose*\n\n*Flexible 8-hour shifts between 10am – 11pm *\n\nWe are currently partnered with a leading *aerospace company* that is seeking a Materials Handler to play an important role in ensuring materials and finished products are received, stored, moved, and shipped accurately and safely within the warehouse.\n\n*Your Responsibilities*\n\n* Receive materials and supplies by verifying purchase order information in the ERP system, including PO numbers, part numbers, quantities, and other relevant details.\n* Accurately document material receipts and put away parts in the appropriate storage locations.\n* Pull and verify materials and supplies listed on production orders, ensuring the correct items are delivered to production.\n* Deliver production materials and supplies where needed and stage finished products for final distribution.\n* Locate, pick, and pack materials for shipment.\n* Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securely securing products.\n* Document product shipments by accurately recording units shipped and maintaining shipment records.\n* Maintain inventory by identifying and labeling materials, keeping supplies properly stocked, recording inventory locations, and reporting shortages or discrepancies.\n* Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to safely move materials and products.
