Supervisory Analyst (Remote Working, Contractual)

JOB DETAILS:Job Type: Contractual (1 year contract with opportunity for extension/conversion)Work Mode: Remote (from within United States)Working hours: 5-6 hours starting from 4 AM AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time) (2 PM EST)JOB PURPOSE:To review and approve investment research reports to ensure they meet regulatory, compliance and editorial standards.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Approve equity, fixed income and strategy research reportsEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and the firm’s editorial guidelines, including that research be clear and fairEnsure recommendations are substantiated by relevant data and investment rationales contain logical integrity, realistic assumptions and an assessment of risksEnsure research does not contain promissory language, exaggerated claims, gambling language, opinions that lack a reasonable basis, and unsubstantiated negative management commentaryAssess the accuracy of dataInteract with management, research analysts, legal, compliance and colleagues to finalize research reportsKEY COMPETENCIES:5+ years’ experience with at least 2+ years of experience as a supervisory analystGood interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication skillsTeam player who can work in a high-pressure environment; should have the ability to prioritise and juggle several projects at the same timeMust be comfortable working independently with strong accountability, while also coordinating smoothly across global teams
