Join us to #IgniteYourCareer!\n\nThe Technical Process Operator (TPO) is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment in the production of plastic trash bags and food storage wrap. TPOs are assigned to one of four departments based on business needs:\n\n1) Conversion - operate bag making and packaging equipment\n\n2) Extrusion - operate film making, tape slitting, and reclaim production equipment\n\n3) Food - operate extrusion, forming, winding, and packaging equipment\n\n4) Logistics - operate fork trucks, palletizers, robots, and trash compacting equipment\n\nIn this role, you will:\n\nAll new employees are hired for night shift (6P - 6A) and work a 2-2-3 schedule including holidays and weekends as required.\n\nStarting pay rate is $22.60/hour plus $1.25/hour night shift premium.\n\nTPOs must be able to perform the following essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation:\n\nOperate and maintain equipment and processes according to specifications and standard operating procedures\n\nKeep raw materials, commodities, cartons, cases, and glue stocked during production periods\n\nProcess scrap materials according to procedures\n\nPerform routine and unique mechanical and maintenance tasks in accordance with training level\n\nRemove or replace equipment parts and components with hand tools\n\nTroubleshoot equipment and process failures\n\nConduct equipment set-up changes according to established procedures\n\nComplete required paperwork accurately\n\nEnter quality and production data into computer systems\n\nPerform housekeeping and work area organization tasks\n\nCommunicate safety, quality, and production information to peers and management each day\n\nTrain other TPOs\n\nThe position of the Technical Process Operator is considered a safety sensitive position, meaning, a lapse of attention could result in injury, illness, or death, including without limitation a position that includes the operating, repairing, maintaining, or monitoring of heavy equipment, machinery, or operating a motorized vehicle.\n\nWhat we look for:\n\nOnly applicants who meet the following minimum qualifications will be considered for employment:\n\nAt least 18 years old\n\nEligible for legal employment in the US\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n\nWe seek out and celebrate diverse backgrounds and experiences, and we know you don’t need a degree to succeed.
