Job SummaryWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supplier Quality Contractor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our suppliers meet the highest quality standards through rigorous quality assurance and control processes. You will collaborate closely with supply chain, manufacturing, and engineering teams to identify root causes of quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.YOU MUST BE A RESIDENT OF THE MINNEAPOLIS/ST PAUL METRO AREA.THIS IS A 6 TO 12 MONTH CONTRACTYOU MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE USResponsibilitiesReview supplier First Article (FA) submissions to ensure completeness and compliance with company requirements, including verification of drawing revisions, dimensional results, tolerances, ballooned layouts, and required supporting documentationProvide clear, actionable feedback to suppliers on submission errorsSupport onboarding/training for new/existing suppliers on FA requirementsReview Nonconforming Material Reports (NMRs) to ensure accurate, complete, and well-defined problem statements tied to print requirements, including validation of key details such as supplier information, quantities, scope, and containment actionsAnalyze supplier quality data to identify trends by part number, supplier, or defect type, highlighting recurring issues and potential risksSummarize findings and escalate concerns to Supplier Quality Engineers (SQEs)Other duties as assignedExperienceExperience working with vendors especially regarding Supplier QualityExperience with 1st Article InspectionKnowledge of working with MS365 softwareFamiliar with non-conforming material reportStrong experience with GD&T, blueprint reading and dimendional inspection methodsExcellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and ability to work closely with others as we as independentlyYOU MUST BE A RESIDENT OF THE MINNEAPOLIS/ST PAUL METRO AREA.THIS IS A 6 TO 12 MONTH CONTRACTYOU MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE US
