This position is responsible for providing leadership by developing strategies for effective environmental, health, safety and security programs for the facility.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nManages Environmental Health Safety and Security budget.\nRepresent facility on Global EHSS CouncilManage EHSS through ISO-based management platform and reporting tools.\nPerform routine tasks such as project safety plans, job hazard analyses, incident investigations, workplace observations and ensuring safety equipment is maintained.\nDevelop, implement, and monitor safety initiatives.\nIdentify, develop and conduct required EHSS trainings\nManage worker's compensation claim process.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor's in Occupational Health & Safety/ EHS related field. \n5+ years of related experience. \nPrevious leadership experience or leadership capability through projects.\nLicense expected.\nWorks effectively both independently and as part of a team. \nLeads EHSS projects that are larger in scope or across multiple plants. \nConsistently mentors less experienced EHSS professionals.\nExcellent general problem-solving skills. \nKnowledge and current understanding of all applicable regulations including federal, state and local laws and standards. (US EPA, SSHA, DOT, OSHA, etc.) \nAbility to interpret regulations to ensure compliance.
