The group supports Pfizer’s portfolio of late-stage development and commercial vaccines and biopharmaceuticals, and is responsible for process troubleshooting, process improvements and second-generation process development.\nWe are looking for a Team player with strong organizational skills to scope and perform moderately complex tasks independently.\nPrimary responsibilities will include support of business processes for the department – as examples:\nPurchasing, including creating purchase orders, resolving issues, managing workflows and reconciliation and reporting [including laboratory equipment and supplies and office supplies]\nRecruiting and on-boarding support from interview scheduling to providing general orientation to new employees.\nRequesting maintenance and facilities support and following through to closure\nOther processes as assigned.\nCandidates will also be asked to:\nOrganize and schedule appointments, including interview schedules and other complicated logistical arrangements.\nSupport collation of data for weekly Visual Management Meetings, prepare regularly scheduled reports.\nSupport experimental reporting with data entry\nCreate and maintain files and spreadsheets, collect and collate information\nPlan meetings, both on-site and virtually, provide support to visitors\nBook travel arrangements, submit and reconcile expense reports\nHard Skill:\nMust understand science language and terminology as they are supporting the MSAT team.\nSoft Skill:\nBiotech Experience is a plus.\nBehavioral attributes:\nSelf-motivated, engaged collaborative, open and transparent. Quick learner.\nFluency with Microsoft Office (TEAMS, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential. Experience with leveraging the TEAMS environment and integrated applications is highly preferred (FORMS, Workflow, PowerAutomate, etc). Comfortable and experienced using tools to support a team in a remote/virtual setting is essential.\nAbility to work and think through problems in a self-directed manner.\nIdentifies opportunities for efficiencies in work practices and collaborates to develop and implement solutions\nTeam player with strong organizational skills, prioritizes to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.\nAttention to detail and accuracy, maintains confidential information.\nREFERENCE CHECK QUESTIONS:\nLooking for someone who will proactively use resources available, search them out, create networks to get work done.\nCandidate will need to help the group shape and form the position, experience stepping into new positions a plus.\nExperience supporting a broad and diverse group and balancing multiple business processes is essential.
