WIN is part of the ISR/SOF Directorate (AFLCMC/WI), who is responsible for equipping our warfighters to win the fight. The Directorate executes a $22 billion acquisition portfolio developing, producing, testing, modifying, fielding, and supporting Air Force ISR and SOF platforms, and related sub-systems.\n\nProgram description:\n\nThe ISR/SOF Directorate has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility for equipping ISR & SOF warfighters to dominate the battlespace. Applicants will benefit from competitive salaries, career growth, and a unique ability to positively impact national security on a global scale!\n\nResponsibilities\nDuties include, but not limited to:\n\nPossess the advanced knowledge, experience, and recognized ability to be considered highly skilled in FMS Engineering Management Support. Must work independently and be able to apply procedures.\n\nTranslate FMS user requirements into system requirements which will be used by the weapon system contractor to design, develop, fabricate, test, and evaluate systems, subsystems, and equipment for deployment.\n\nAssist in performing technical/mission analyses of operational requirements, assist in developing system concepts, and perform technological/trade-off study assessments of proposed designs.\n\nAssist with processes for drafting project documentation including, SOOs and SOWs, program plans, schedules, and presentations.\n\nAssist in drafting regulatory and statutory documentation to include, but not be limited to, the SEP and life cycle management plan.\n\nAssist in reviewing Contractor documents and data and providing comments.\n\nAssist test teams in the development of test requirements, reviewing test plans.\n\nAssist in reviewing and analyzing technical proposals or modifications for cost, design feasibility and system compatibility.\n\nAssist in supporting and conducting engineering performance, effectiveness, cost effectiveness, cost performance, life‑cycle cost, producibility, maintainability, supportability, reliability, technical/schedule risk assessment, and scheduling trade‑off studies.\n\nAssist in supporting the evaluation of IMP, IMS, and SEDS engineering cost estimates.\n\nAssist in the evaluation of systems test plans (such as systems test plans/test and evaluation master plans) and participate in the conduct of system, subsystem, and component testing.\n\nProvide systems/subsystems integration support for the acquisition, development, and verification of systems and equipment.\n\nQualifications\nMinimum Required Qualifications\n\nCitizenship: Must be a US citizen\n\nClearance: Secret\n\nEducation & Years of Experience:\n\nABET bachelor’s degree or Masters degree in a related field and three (3) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, three (3) years of which must be in the DoD.\n\nTechnical Skills:\n\nMust come from an engineering background (avionics, aerospace, mechanical, manufacturing, design, etc.)\n\nAdditional Information\n\nLocation: Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio\n\nTravel: 10%\n\nOnsite\n\nCompany Overview\nOdyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
