Ultimately our products give people access to their homes and allow them to become more mobile. We say, “We Lift Lives”.\nUsing a variety of hand & power tools, fixtures, blue prints, work instructions and test equipment perform a series of operations to correctly assemble/test production assemblies and devices.\nFollow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures.\nRead/Write English - Bilingual is a plus.\nReport problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production Supervisor.\nProvide hands on job function training to coworkers as needed.\n5s - maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.\nReport component part shortages to the Manufacturing and Production Managers, and the Purchasing Coordinator as soon as they are detected.\nAssess adequacy of component part stocking levels.\nMaintain established kanbans.\nCreates plan for assembly procedures, following specifications and using knowledge gained by experience.\nOperates production line equipment of a level of complexity requiring the specified training or assembling products, units, machines, equipment, and/or subassemblies.\nMounts and connects mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic or hydraulic equipment; cuts and fits pipe and tubing.\nRemoves small quantities of metal, using hand files or portable grinders, to clean parts or to produce close fit between parts.\nDrills, taps, or reams holes, using drill press or portable drill.\nAligns components, and bolts, screws, or rivets them together, using hand tools or portable powered tools.\nInstalls moving parts, such as shafts, levers, or bearings, and works them to test free movement.\nMay align and mesh gears in gearbox to assemble system of gears.\nMay operate drill presses, punch presses, or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation.\nMay test or assist in testing operation of completed product.\nPack and build pallet to prepare product to ship out.\nRequirements:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\nWork experience in a manufacturing environment beneficial.\nLean manufacturing environment\nEducation:\nGED\nPay/Hours:\nHourly pay - $17.50\n6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Monday - Thursday (One-two Fridays required OT)\nGreat Benefits:\nMedical, FSA, HSA, Dental, Vision, Maternity/Paternity Leave, STD, LTD after 60 days of full-time employment\nHarmar offers $50,000 Life Insurance first day of employment.\n401(k) matching after 6 months of full-time employment\nPaid Vacation time (80 hours) and Sick/Personal time (30 hours) after 90 days of full-time employment\nEight Paid Holidays and one Floating Holiday\nFitness and PPE Reimbursement\nAnnual Merit Increases and Bonus Potential in December\nHarmar Core Values, these are important to us!\nTeam Players –We lean on each other, are dependable and trustworthy.\nGet stuff Done – We finish the job and possess a strong work ethic.\nCan-Do Attitude – A spirit of positivity and flexibility.
