This position will remain open for application based on business need, which may be before or after the 3-day posting window.\n\nJob Responsibilities\n\nCompile, review, and organize permit requirements in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.\n\nEvaluate project risks and execute strategy to obtain primary development permits.\n\nDraft, review, and organize high‑quality and resilient permit applications and supporting documentation including agency data request responses, testimony, briefs, and regulatory compliance filings.\n\nCoordinate internal and external technical support from development, legal, engineering, environmental, and construction teams.\n\nManage schedules and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.\n\nInterface with government agencies to establish positive relationships and effectively communicate project objectives, details, and benefits.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s Degree.\n\n3 years of work experience in the energy industry or relevant experience.\n\nEligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nJuris Doctor, Master of Science, or similar graduate‑level degree. Experience with permitting, project management, and technical/legal writing.\n\nAbility to quickly develop multidisciplinary expertise and act decisively in a fast‑paced business environment with competing deadlines.\n\nStrong organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.\n\nMust be self‑directed and detail‑oriented, with the ability and desire to effectively lead.\n\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and GIS applications.\n\nBase Pay\n$85,000.00 - $103,000.00 USD Annual\n\nBonus: 20% - 30%\n\nThe base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.\n\nIn addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus program(s) which are designed to reward individual and company performance.
