The Lead supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in fabrication and assembly of structural sheet metal products. The Lead sets up and operates machines, makes adjustments for materials used, verify dimensional requirements and may use blueprints. Meyer Utility Structures is an industry leader in the engineering design and fabrication of tubular steel structures for transmission, distribution, and substation applications.\nSchedule - Must be able to work Fri- Sun 6:00 am - 6:00 pm.\nWhat you’ll do:\nLead and support a team of Operators\nSet up and operate CNC machinery (cutting, forming, drilling, milling, etc.)\nMonitor production quality and verify dimensional requirements using blueprints\nTroubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic machine adjustments\nMake decisions related to tolerances, quality, and workflow sequencing\nEnsure adherence to all safety rules and procedures\nParticipate in or support safety initiatives and committees\nPerform additional duties as assigned\nWhat you’ll need:\nMinimum of 4 years of relevant manufacturing experience\nProven ability to lead and develop a small team\nStrong blueprint reading and measurement verification skills\nExperience operating CNC/PLC equipment, including:\nWhitney plasma/punch\nKinetic\nOxy-fuel and plasma cutting\nCNC machining centers (drills, presses, mills)\nAbility to lift 50+ lbs regularly and stand for extended periods\nReliable attendance and strong work ethic\nTeam-oriented mindset with a positive attitude\nHigh dependability\nStrong leadership presence on the floor\nCommitment to safety and quality\nAbility to work collaboratively toward production goals\nmus276\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
