*******W2 only - full time - no calls, texts or emails from 3rd parties*****Financial Analyst / Financial Analytics & BI SpecialistLocation: New York City, NY (Hybrid – 3 days onsite weekly, Wednesday required)Office Location: Near Bryant ParkCompensation: $85K–$100K base + bonus potential(Flexibility up to ~$110K for highly qualified candidates)W2 onlyWe are seeking a Financial Analyst / Financial Analytics & BI Specialist to support a high-performing finance and pricing organization within a professional services environment. This role combines financial reporting, business intelligence, SSRS development, data analysis, dashboard validation, and stakeholder support in a highly visible position supporting leadership, attorneys, accounting, and business services teams.The role supports firmwide financial and operational initiatives including profitability analysis, KPI reporting, budgeting, trend analysis, business planning, and executive-level reporting.Key Responsibilities• Compile and deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial review presentations and analyses for senior leadership• Extract and analyze data from Elite 3E, data warehouses, and other enterprise repositories• Create, modify, and maintain SSRS reports, reporting alerts, and reporting libraries• Validate Power BI dashboards and communicate reporting updates to stakeholders• Support budgeting, financial planning, profitability analysis, and KPI reporting initiatives• Respond to ad hoc reporting and analytics requests from attorneys, partners, and business leadership• Assist with audit inquiries, benchmark surveys, and operational reporting initiatives• Investigate anomalies, validate data accuracy, and reconcile inconsistencies across systems• Work closely with accounting, pricing, finance systems, and business services teams• Build polished Excel and PowerPoint deliverables for executive and operational audiencesRequired Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree required• 2–4+ years of Financial Analyst, BI Analyst, Pricing Analyst, FP&A, or Reporting Analyst experience• Prior law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred• Strong Excel skills required (advanced preferred)• Strong SQL skills required• Strong SSRS experience required• Experience working with large structured and unstructured datasets• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to generate business insights• Strong communication and stakeholder interaction skills• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-visibility environmentPreferred Qualifications• Experience with Elite 3E• Power BI experience• Financial modeling and scenario modeling experience• Experience with data warehouses and enterprise reporting environments• Advanced PowerPoint skills• Experience supporting professional services financial operationsNotes:• SSRS is the most important technical skill• Insight generation is more important than simple reporting• Candidate must think beyond the request and understand business intent• Role requires curiosity, analytical thinking, and strong business communication skills• Data cleansing is only a small portion of the role (~10%)• Team includes finance systems, pricing, and analytics professionals
