This position reports directly to the Manager, Network & Systems Operations.What You Will DoExecute operational priorities established by the Manager, Network & Systems Operations to maintain reliable infrastructure performanceServe as the senior technical escalation point for complex network, systems, and security incidentsAdminister and support Cisco networking environments including routing, switching, and UCS FlexPod infrastructureManage VMware ESXi and vSphere virtualization platforms supporting production workloadsAdminister Windows Server Environment 2012R2 through 2025 and Active Directory servicesMaintain and optimize NetApp storage platforms including replication, monitoring, and lifecycle managementSupport Microsoft 365 services and hybrid identity architecture including Entra IDAdminister Palo Alto firewalls and enforce network security controlsServe as the primary technical liaison to the Managed Security Services Provider and SOCReview, validate, and coordinate response to security alerts, incidents, and vulnerability findingsExecute patch management, system hardening, and vulnerability remediation activitiesSupport disaster recovery readiness including backup validation and DRaaS testingImplement approved infrastructure changes in accordance with established change management standardsMaintain accurate infrastructure documentation, configuration standards, and operational proceduresParticipate in on call rotation and provide support during game days and major eventsPromote knowledge sharing and technical cross training within Network & Systems Operations to strengthen team capability and resiliencyWhat We Need From Our Senior Network & Systems Administrator:Advanced hands on experience administering enterprise Cisco networking environmentsStrong experience supporting VMware ESXi and vSphere production environmentsExperience managing Windows Server and Active Directory in a multi site environmentExperience supporting NetApp storage systemsExperience administering Palo Alto firewalls and network security platformsExperience working directly with Managed Security Services Providers or SOC teamsStrong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals including incident response and vulnerability managementExperience supporting Microsoft 365 and hybrid identity environmentsStrong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilitiesAbility to operate independently while aligning with leadership directionStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience/ Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED requiredBachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred; equivalent experience acceptedMinimum five years of progressive systems and network administration experience in a multi site or enterprise environmentDemonstrated experience supporting Cisco networking, VMware, NetApp, Palo Alto, and enterprise security operationsProfessional certifications such as VCP, CCNP, PCNSE, Microsoft, Security+, or related certifications preferredWhat You Can Expect Ability to transit throughout the arena for long periods of timeThis position works mainly indoors, removed from extreme weather; exposure to weather is S-Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionallyMust be able to carry on a conversation both on the phone and in-personAbility to Read, Write & Speak in EnglishWide range of full-time benefit options includingMedical, Dental and Vision coveragesLife and Disability optionsVacation, sick and holiday leave programsPerks:Discounts at Fanatics Team ShopTickets available for Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury gamesVisit our Culture page to learn more about our culture and work environmentPlayer 15 Group is committed to employing a diverse workforce.
