{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"f28ca18df71f2b2449d8bdb7","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f28ca18df71f2b2449d8bdb7","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f28ca18df71f2b2449d8bdb7","title":"IT Control Tester","description":"Technology Controls Tester\nLocation: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid- onsite 3 days/week)\nEmployment Type: 6 month contract-to-hire\nPay Range: $38-40/hr\nThe Controls Tester will contribute to the development and testing of technology and internal controls, collaborate with control stakeholders, and identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.\nRole Overview\nSupport the maintenance of a comprehensive internal controls program that addresses risks and ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.\nCollaborate with other control professionals to assess, document, and test controls across the Technology organization.\nDevelop strong working relationships with control owners to facilitate the effort of gathering and submitting evidence.\nIdentify control deficiencies and work with the team to develop remediation plans.\nMonitor issue remediation and provide monthly status updates for issues under the Chief Information Officer’s organization.\nParticipate in the review and update of control policies and procedures to ensure they are current, effective, and aligned with industry best practices.\nPrepare reports on the status of the internal controls program and assist in providing regular updates to management.\nRequired Skills\nAn understanding of internal control frameworks and regulations, e.g., COSO, SOX, PCI, and other relevant standards.\nAbility to collaborate with other control professionals to assess, document, and test controls.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve control issues.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and management.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and competing demands.\n2+ years of experience in internal controls, audit, or related fields.\nBroad knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.\nPreferred background/skills:\nBasic knowledge of GRC practices in a Technology environment.\nExperience and knowledge of working within a GRC system (e.g., Archer)\nWe are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants.
