Apartment Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a dependable and committed FULL-TIME MaintenanceTechnician for several residential apartment communities in Southwest Michigan. The qualified candidate has a basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting and HVAC, light fixtures,filter changes, lock repairs, install/repair window coverings, caulking, vinyl repair and installation, appliance repairs, maintaining the grounds (including trash pick-up and snow removal) and common areas for our multi-unit apartment communities. Must be able to install wall and central AC and furnace units. This position requires the ability to work as a team and manage the daily maintenance responsibilities for the properties. Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday and rotational on-call. Hours may vary during the winter season. Hourly base pay aligned with experience Requirements: Required to manage and organize all aspects of maintenance activities Passing a background check and drug screen is required for employment The Maintenance Technician will have intermediate skills in using tools such as electric drills & saws, volt, and gas meters, key machine, power drain cleaner (snake), ladders, snow blowers, etc. For consideration, a candidate will have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, car insurance, and excellent customer service skills.
