Job SummaryThe Accountant I should enjoy a challenging, fast-paced environment, be a team player and have an excellent ability to prioritize individual and team objectives.Duties And Responsibilities/Essential FunctionsThe Staff Accountant will be responsible for the following:Proper revenue recognition for routine transactionsMaintenance of routine accrualsAssisting with month-end and year-end close in accordance with IFRSPerforming accounting research and ad-hoc reports as requiredMaintaining monthly reconciliationsMonitoring and reconciling inter-company balancesActively supports our mission, vision and core values and demonstrates Cirrus’ Service Essentials.Follows standard operating procedures and processing guidelines while maintaining attention to detail accuracy and timelinessParticipates in department meetings and offers suggestions and ideas for process improvement.Special Emphasis could include:Accounting for fixed assets and leasesFactory Service Center & CommissionsWarranty/Deferred revenueCustomer facing servicesRegular, reliable, and predictable attendance.Other projects and duties as assigned.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
