Title: I&E Designer III Pay Rate: $55.00/hr on W2Location: Tulsa, OK - 74102 (100% Onsite)Shift timings: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. (Mostly office job, only 10% field work)Duration: 6+ months ContractInterview: 2 rounds of virtual interviewNote: This is a 100% onsite opportunity from Tulsa, OK - 74102. Relocation candidates are accepted as long as they are willing to relocate and work onsite from Tulsa, OK - 74102.Mandatory Skills or Experience needed:HM is looking for candidates with Electrical & Instrumentation background with experience in power and instrumentation.Experience with AutoCad.Electrical side - low voltage to 13KVA, transformers.Instrument side - Loop diagrams, pressure gauges, flow, temperature, condition of fluids.Modification to existing drawings.Some very light design work.Multisheet drawing. BASIC FUNCTION:Conducts complex design assignments for the Engineering DepartmentESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Develops Engineering Standards for EI&C equipment purchases and installationsPlans Projects by developing schedules, and identifying improvement to existing processesImplements Projects by monitoring performance, providing feedback to project teamSolves technical problems related to projects and troubleshoots and updates report data for business unit(s)Upgrades, designs, configures equipmentAnalyzes related components and systemsEnsures the maintenance and integrity of business unit(s) dataDesigns chemical plant EI&C equipmentConducts research to develop new and improved processDesigns and plans layout for EI&C on a commercial scaleDetermines most effective arrangement of Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls and Power Distribution EquipmentInvestigates and resolves work-in-process problems EXPERIENCE:A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive work experience in electrical, instrumentation & controls is requiredPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:Refinery or petrochemical industry experience is preferred.EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:A minimum of a Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent amount of experience is required.REQUIRED SKILLS:Ability to manage a project is essential.Working knowledge of commonly used engineering concepts and ability to apply this knowledge analytically.Ability to stay abreast of new technology developments and processes is essential.Technical expert in area of specialty.Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication.Advanced reading and writing skills, with the ability to perform complex mathematical calculations. PREFERRED SKILLS:Working knowledge of Client products and experience with engineering software is preferred.
