Responsibilities include program development and planning, staffing, scheduling, marketing and promotional activities, instructional quality, student relations, and ongoing program oversight. The Program Supervisor monitors program operations and outcomes to ensure high-quality instruction, effective delivery, and alignment with divisional goals and standards.\n\nPOSITION SUMMARY\n\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\n\nManage all aspects of program development, including budget, staff, instructional quality, and student relations.\n\nIdentify, develop, and implement industry-recognized credential and certification programs.\n\nDevelop and distribute marketing materials for programs.\n\nPrepare schedules for courses, workshops, and seminars.\n\nAssist with the assessment of community needs and make recommendations for educational and learning programs, including Kids and Teens programming.\n\nIdentify, recommend, and supervise instructional staff.\n\nPrepare, distribute, collect, and assess course evaluations and learning outcomes\n\nPrepare, track, and monitor the annual budget.\n\nPerform additional tasks or duties as assigned.\n\nSPECIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS\n\nEducation: Associate degree required; BA/BS degree preferred.\n\nExperience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in program development and coordination of non-credit courses, including workforce training and/or Kids and Teens programming. Prefer supervisory experience and background in working with community organizations and outreach programs. Business experience preferred but not required.\n\nOther: Must possess a valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle to travel between various college sites and off-campus locations. Able to lift at least 20lb. cartons (books, laptops, supplies).\n\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES\n\nDemonstrates understanding of the community college mission and practices an open-door policy.\n\nStrong knowledge essential in pedagogy and assessment needed to drive goal development and implementation related to student success.\n\nExperience in K-12 educational programs in a community college environment is desirable. Background in Adult, Continuing, or Community Education preferred.\n\nWorking proficiency in various CRM software products, reporting tools, and web-based marketing.\n\nTechnology skills are essential, with proficiency required in the use of the Microsoft Office, Google Workplace, and online learning management systems.\n\nAbility to collaborate with community and college partners.\n\nSolid financial ability needed to manage the budget and grant responsibilities.\n\nDetail-oriented, self-starter with ability to work independently and as a team.
