This Engineer will develop, implement, and validate the real-time models of the electrical and software designs of our electric vehicles. The candidate will work closely with the Software Team, Electrical Team, and Propulsion Team to build the HiL Bench and create a correlated Digital Twin. The validation engineer will generate test cases and analyze results to ensure program requirements are met.\nResponsibilities include:\nManage the HiL testing and validation program for the EV Propulsion System\nWork closely with Software, Electrical, and Propulsion teams on the integration of multiple control units on the HiL\nReal-time modeling of physical systems as needed\nCollaborate with Software, Electrical, and Propulsion teams to develop DFMEAs, DVP&Rs, and HiL validation plans\nWrite detailed test specifications and test scripts based on system and component requirements. Generate a testing plan that achieves targets at various milestones\nAnalyze and visualize large data sets from various data sources to understand the use cases and validation criteria\nPost-processing and analysis of experimental data to validate and inform models\nTechnical communication of analysis results and tradeoffs\nRoot cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and escalation of risks to keep software development process on track\nIdentify opportunities for automation.
