The work will be aligned with USAA's technology strategy, potentially involving the use of AI tools and automation to enhance efficiency.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities:\n\nDevelop AI-enabled capabilities that accelerate, augment, and automate visualization lifecycle execution, increasing the speed, quality, and scalability of delivery\nEngage BIA teams and customers to identify friction, pain points, and opportunities\nMap solutions to the visualization development lifecycle from intake through adoption\nPrototype, test, and refine agentic workflows for quality, reliability, and repeatability\nCreate documentation, guardrails, and examples that support adoption and safe use\nMeasure solution impact and continuously improve based on user feedback\nDynamically adapt solutions and strategy as industry capability evolves\n\nTo qualify, you must be pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university, and plan to graduate after the final day of the internship. Most of our interns participate in the summer between their junior and senior years. Our 2027 internship will start on June 2nd, 2027, and last through August 13, 2027.\n\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.\n\nAnticipated graduation date between September 2027 and May 2028.\n\nFoundational understanding of:\n\nPython / PowerShell / SQL\nGenerative AI / LLMs\nPrompt and agent design\nPowerBI / Tableau\nWorkflow automation and test harnesses\nProblem-solving and analytical thinking\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nDemonstrated leadership through coursework, projects, student organizations, employment, or community involvement.\n\nWhat sets you apart:\n\nBIA Domain Experience\nBIA or visualization development lifecycle experience\nExperience translating pain points into solution requirements\nCoursework or project experience involving software development.\nUnderstanding of Agile development concepts.\nInterest in AI-assisted development and emerging technologies.\n\nCompensation range: The salary range for this position is: $26.50 - $36.
