Java Developer with PL/SQL Chicago IL Contract

Job Title: Java Developer with PL/SQL Location: Onsite - Chicago, IL Job Type: Contract (C2C/W2) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with strong PL/SQL experience to join our team for a contract-based, onsite role in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in developing enterprise-level applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and integrating with Oracle PL/SQL. Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications.Write and optimize complex PL/SQL queries, procedures, and packages.Integrate Java applications with Oracle databases.Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment. Required Skills:9-12+ years of experience in Java development.Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs.Hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL - procedures, triggers, packages.Good understanding of SQL performance tuning and data modeling.Experience with Azure Cloud is requiredExperience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Bamboo.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
