Senior Financial Analyst
POSITION SUMMARYSr. Financial Analyst is responsible for ownership of reporting needs as it pertains to the Carl’s Jr. company-owned restaurant portfolio. This role provides financial analysis and support to drive business performance. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMay perform any or all of the following duties:Supports Carl’s Jr. corporate restaurants to accurately report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a weekly, periodic, quarterly, and annual basisPrepares and analyzes restaurant P&Ls to ensure data accuracy and provide actionable recommendationsItemizes variances to forecast, budget, and prior yearActs as primary financial liaison for company operations team, presenting to senior leadershipManages sales forecasting for both Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr.Assists in the quarterly forecast and annual planning processesEstablishes project timelines and follows-up with other departments to ensure deadlines are metAssists with ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives, including presentations for the Leadership Team, Board of Directors, Franchise Advisory Boards, brand conventions, and/or individual departmentsDevelops, refines, and maintains analytical tools and complex financial modelsConsistently exercises independent judgment and discretion in matters of significancePerforms other duties and/or special projects as assigned in response to changing business conditions and/or requirements POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/CORE COMPETENCIESBachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related field4-5 years of experience in Financial Analysis or similar roleMust be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPointStrong communication skills, with ability to influence senior leadershipMust display strong analytical and organizational skills and have the ability to identify and implement process improvement strategiesPrior experience with databases and Business Intelligence tools preferredGeneral knowledge of restaurant business model preferred WORK ENVIRONMENT Restaurant Support Center that operates in a fast-paced setting with a high volume of activity and a deadline-driven environment. The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring on-site presence in the office every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
