This role will support further development of a statewide cloud strategy, work with agencies on cloud adoption, and support a managed cloud broker model. This is a 12-month engagement with possibility for extension.\nPosition Summary\nThis role assists with day-to-day operations and migrations to AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure as the organization transitions to a managed cloud broker.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform system administration, automation, and development tasks for the Cloud Management Platform (CMP)\nWork with technology operations and customer personnel to facilitate migrations to cloud infrastructure\nMaintain continuity of shared services offered across AWS and Azure\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in computer science or information systems\n10 years of experience in infrastructure, systems engineering, DevOps, or architecture\n8+ years of technical architecture experience and relevant hands-on engineering\n5-7 years of AWS experience (IAM, Organizations, networking architectures, cost management controls)\n3-5 years of Azure experience (RBAC, Azure AD, networking architectures, cost management controls)\n3-7 years of enterprise cloud architecture or governance experience\n3-5 years of Terraform and infrastructure as code experience\n3-5 years of cloud migrations and platform operations experience\n3+ years of technical leadership and knowledge transfer experience\nPublic cloud infrastructure expertise\nPreferred Qualifications\nExpertise in Terraform infrastructure as code, scaling technologies and solutions\nExperience with AWS or other clouds, familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or other container platforms\nSecurity, penetration testing, and threat detection tools experience\nExperience with ServiceNow, Datadog, Dome9, and/or Aviatrix\nBackground in DevOps, software development, site reliability, or systems engineering\nExperience with configuration management and continuous deployment\nAWS and/or Azure certifications\nLocation\nThe consultant will be onsite for the first week to get acclimated to the team, then transition to approximately 3 days per month onsite, with the remainder remote.
