As a Business Development Representative, you will generate leads and build strong relationships with families and local organizations.\n\nWhat You'll Do\nLead Generation & Prospecting\nIdentify, pursue, and grow relationships with prospective referral sources (e.g., pediatricians, school counselors, therapists, daycare directors, nonprofit leaders).\nConduct outbound outreach through in-person visits, networking, cold introductions, and field drop-ins.\nExecute a consistent weekly prospecting plan to source new opportunities, support market share expansion, and build referral diversity.\nQualify and document lead potential, partner alignment, and readiness for engagement.\nSalesforce & Pipeline Management\nLog all outreach, visit notes, referrals, and contacts in Salesforce daily.\nMaintain complete visibility into referral status, outcomes, and lead aging across accounts.\nOwn the integrity of your referral pipeline—including follow-up cadence, touchpoint tracking, and conversion insights.\nCollaborate with the Admissions and Sales Ops teams to resolve barriers to conversion and support funnel optimization.\nTerritory Development\nExecute outreach strategies that align with assigned territory goals, visit coverage expectations, and market penetration priorities.\nAnalyze referral patterns and territory performance to refine targeting efforts.\nPartner with Regional Sales Managers to identify underperforming pockets and high-growth zones.\nEvent Strategy & Execution\nPlan and lead field events, education sessions, and outreach opportunities that directly support lead generation and awareness.\nRepresent the organization at school fairs, health expos, nonprofit gatherings, and similar events with clear growth intent.\nCapture leads onsite, document contact data, and manage follow-up or handoff to internal teams.\nMust maintain a flexible schedule as the role may require early morning, evening or weekend availability for events.\n\nCollaboration & Reporting\nWork closely with Growth, Marketing, and Admissions to ensure aligned messaging and effective lead handoffs.\nSubmit regular outreach reports, territory updates, and event summaries.\nParticipate in weekly sales calls, coaching check-ins, and training.\nRequirements\nThe Business Development Representative requires a minimum of a High School diploma, bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field preferred and:\nMinimum 3 years of experience in field sales, outreach, or business development—preferably healthcare-related.\nDemonstrated ability to generate leads, manage a sales pipeline, and meet performance expectations.\nStrong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.\nSalesforce or similar CRM experience required.\nBenefits\nOutstanding Benefits\n21 paid days off (15 days of PTO, which increases with tenure, plus 6 holidays).\nFlexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Accunt (HSA) options.\nMedical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and life insurance.\nGenerous 401(k) with up to 6% employer match.\nAbout ABA Centers of Florida\nABA Centers of Florida is committed to maintaining a culture led by seasoned professionals who share a vision of becoming the nation’s leading provider of autism care.
