With a passion for elevating creativity, we partner with clients to bring their unique visions to life.Position Summary:The studio is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Studio Production Assistant with a strong foundation in ceramics or sculpture. The ideal candidate is eager to contribute to a professional studio practice while expanding their technical and creative skills.Responsibilities: • Assist with porcelain slip casting and slab construction • Support plaster mold making, handling, and maintenance • Prepare clay, materials, and tools for production • Participate in finishing processes, including refining and surface preparation • Maintain studio organization, cleanliness, and workflow efficiency • Assist with additional studio tasks as neededQualifications: • Minimum 2 years of experience in ceramics, pottery, mold making, sculpture, or a related discipline • Working knowledge of slip casting and/or plaster mold processes preferred • Strong organizational skills, rime management, and attention to detail • Self-directed with the ability to work independently and efficiently • Physically able to lift and handle plaster molds and clay materials • Genuine interest in contemporary fine art and studio practiceAdaptability, problem-solving ability, and proactive attitudeCompensations: • Hourly, commensurate with experience
