Your duties will include:Performing all dental hygiene procedures, including but not limited to: cleanings, polishing, x-rays, sealants, fluoride applications, and periodontal treatmentsAssisting in the development and implementation of individualized hygiene plansEducating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and treatment plansAccurately charting patient information, including periodontal charting and pre-existing conditionsSupporting dentists during special procedures and complex operationsSorting and packaging instruments for sterilization in compliance with OSHA guidelinesActing as OSHA coordinator and ensuring weekly autoclave testingManaging patient charts in accordance with HIPAA privacy and security regulationsAssist monthly supply ordersAssist scheduling patient recall appointmentsQualificationsExcellent chairside manner and strong communication skillsAbility to multitask and adapt to different procedures and techniquesProfessional, dependable, and eager to growStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCustomer service oriented with a professional demeanorReliable and collaborative team playerBilingual (English/ Spanish) preferredRequirementsCurrent Georgia Dental Hygienist LicenseStrong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and patient screeningCommitment to providing excellent patient careAbility to work collaboratively with the dental teamExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detail in maintaining accurate records and a clean operatoryScheduleMonday - Friday (4 days per week - 32 guaranteed hours)7:45 AM - 5:00 PMBenefitsFull-time team members qualify for Medical, Dental, and Optical Insurance after 90 daysEmployee discountUnique opportunity to work in a multi-specialty practice Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid HolidaysOpportunities for Professional GrowthPay Is Based On ExperienceIf you're an enthusiastic Dental Hygienist looking to join a supportive and patient-focused team, we'd love to hear from you!
