This role will install cabinets, shelving, drywall and insulation while also adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks and hinges. Other duties will include cutting and measuring materials according to a client's requirements. A successful Carpenter is hardworking, reliable, and be detail oriented.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nRead blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine project requirements.\nTake measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed.\nCutting, shaping, and smoothing of lumber and other material according to measurements.\nInstall of windows and doors.\nAssemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items.\nBuild scaffolding and other construction structures.\nTouching up and punch-listing all trim and drywall items, as well as fix door and hardware issues.\nInstall exterior façade of building.\nPerform other duties as needed.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED; carpentry apprenticeship program preferred.\nProven experience as a carpenter, including hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials, and Punchlist experience.\nSkilled in using hand and power tools, measuring equipment, and a variety of carpentry materials.\nStrong attention to detail, communication, organization, initiative, flexibility, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.\nCompletion of OSHA 10 or 30, or ability to complete.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities including bending, climbing, kneeling, squatting, reaching, pushing, and pulling.\nWillingness to perform tasks outside of primary trade responsibilities as needed.\nCommitment to following all company safety policies and procedures.\nWhy Join Sevan?\nAt Sevan, we believe in creating a supportive and dynamic environment where your contributions truly matter.
