Midwest Sales Rep (UCD) Job Description: TRIARC TANK is seeking an Outside Sales Representative based in the Midwest area, servicing the following territories: MN, WI, IL, IN, MI, OH, KY, WV. Since our founding in 1933, TRIARC TANK has provided high quality steel pressure vessels that primarily serve the energy (LPG) and agricultural markets. This position will be primarily responsible for growing our book of business throughout the Midwest through the selling of TRIARC TANK products and services B2B to direct propane marketers and tank distributors. You will join an experienced sales team that is well respected throughout our industry and is recognized as an industry leader. This will be a new position within our company as we are dedicated to the growth and retention of strong customer relationships. Responsibilities: As a representative of the company, you will maintain and strengthen customer relationships by identifying their needs and presenting value-add solutions, including sales growth opportunities, as well as quotes and order entry. Serve as the primary company liaison within the assigned territory, building strong commercial relationships with key leaders. Actively engage in customer visits, trade shows, & industry events to intentionally grow the TRIARC Tank brand. Proactively coordinate and communicate order status updates to customers while collaborating with manufacturing, operations, and distribution/logistics teams. Identify leads and prospects, set appointments (virtual & in-person), conduct effective, high-impact sales calls, & manage the full sales cycle Analyze customer purchasing trends within the territory to support forecasting and achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual business goals. Provide weekly reports on sales, bookings, and customer activity, supported by both quantitative & qualitative insights Maintain strong product knowledge and competitive intelligence to support actionable sales strategies, including developing countermeasures to address gaps & drive performance. Manage and develop customer pipelines and support additional projects that contribute to overall business success. Qualifications: WIN: by showcasing strong negotiation, selling, & closing skills Knowledge of pressure vessels and/or LPG industry (preferred) Proven experience as a sales representative in the industry (preferred) High impact sales experience Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, follow through, and organizational skills Ability to work well & collaborate with team Self-motivated and internally driven to succeed and help company grow Proficient with pipeline management, sales management software & CRM Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism Support of other outside sales representatives’ territory if/when needed Travel: To assigned territories to meet with potential and current customers as needed to develop and maintain key commercial relationships Attend industry trade shows & meetings to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers Able to travel to customer sites frequently as required of the job; 25-50% with increased intensity and focus throughout region during industry busy season
