This position requires an experienced professional with a background in automotive ECU electronics design and having a track record of successfully bringing new automotive hardware systems into production.\n\nOur ideal candidate exhibits a can‑do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection.\n\nThe Role\nA self‑starter who leads the design of Lucid’s LVEE hardware ECUs for zonal architecture and power distribution units. Other ECUs include IVI and ADAS compute systems.\n\nBe responsible for the design of the computing platform hardware from capture schematic, oversee PCB layout, board bring‑up, debug, design verification test, signal timing and signal integrity qualification, thermal and environment related test, EMC/EMI test, manufacture support and the production deployment.\n\nDrive the concept design, prototyping, engineering, testing, manufacture, release and launch of a cutting‑edge compute platform and related ECUs while meeting cost, efficiency, reliability, and safety goals.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nWork with cross‑functional teams to design, verify, and bring up the LVEE domain controller.\n\nEnsure hardware performance is achieved successfully when integrated on bench and in vehicle.\n\nTroubleshoot and root cause, document, and drive to issue resolution.\n\nParticipate in design review and xFMEA meetings to ensure lessons learned and best practices are incorporated.\n\nLead rapid prototype system development in an efficient manner to show proof of concept.\n\nContribute to the timely delivery of fully validated, high‑quality products.\n\nWork closely with other teams to ensure good communication to achieve a seamless and robust vehicle implementation.\n\nQualifications\n\nProven track record of bringing automotive low voltage electronics design into production.\n\nExtensive knowledge in EE fundamentals and project experience developing reliable and efficient critical electronics hardware board.\n\nAt least 3+ years of experience in automotive design and demonstrated track record of technical excellence.\n\nProficient in using schematics capture tool, PCB tool, SI/PI simulation tool for board‑level design.\n\nProficient in using oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer to analyze high‑speed signal, power circuit and to debug board issues.\n\nMandatory Skills\nBS minimum in the areas of Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Robotics, or other related fields.\n\nOptional Skills\nKnowledge/understanding of high‑speed PCB layout, SI, and PI simulation tool.\n\nKnowledge of applicable safety standards including ISO26262.\n\nCompensation\nThe pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $36.98/hour - $57.79/hour.
