This is a unique VP role within a leading private equity platform to hire a senior finance professional who will operate well beyond traditional fund accounting—partnering directly with executive leadership and touching everything from reporting and valuations to liquidity, tax, and fund operations.*$285-$340K (base + full annual bonus*In this role you will have:• Direct exposure to senior leadership• Broad scope across accounting, operations, and strategy• Real ownership of fund-level outcomes• High-impact, highly visible work• A platform that's actively scaling—meaning your role evolves with itResponsibilities:You'll oversee multiple complex fund structures end-to-end—owning quarterly and annual GAAP reporting, reviewing administrator and audit deliverables, and digging into key areas like management fees and waterfall calculations.On top of that, you'll be deeply involved in:• Fund liquidity — capital calls, distributions, cash forecasting, credit facilities• Valuations — quarterly review and coordination across teams• Tax workflows — partnering with internal and external stakeholders• Investor support — inquiries, reporting, and fund launch materials• Compliance — regulatory and credit facility reporting• Operations — working across investment, performance, and finance teamsYou'll also play a key role in driving improvements—whether that's onboarding new funds, refining processes, or enhancing coordination with offshore teams and third-party administrators.Who this is built for:Someone who is a CPA with ~8+ years of experience in public accounting (Big 4) and fund finance/accounting who's ready to step into a more dynamic, high-ownership role.Qualifications:– Understands complex fund structures and enjoys problem-solving– Communicates well across investment, finance, and external partners– Is proactive, resourceful, and comfortable with ambiguity– Wants to improve processes—not just maintain them– Brings a strong attention to detail without losing the bigger picture
