{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"f1e939208f7fdf5c7529fa59","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f1e939208f7fdf5c7529fa59","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f1e939208f7fdf5c7529fa59","title":"Senior HL7 Interface Developer","description":"We are seeking a skilled Senior HL7 Interface Developer to design, develop, and support healthcare data exchange interfaces.\r\nThis role involves working with HL7 standards, integration engines, and APIs to ensure seamless interoperability across healthcare systems.\r\nThe ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HL7 v2.x, FHIR, and integration platforms such as Rhapsody, along with a strong understanding of provider data workflows and healthcare compliance standards.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nDesign, develop, and maintain interfaces using HL7 v2.x, HL7 v3, FHIR, and custom APIs.\r\nConfigure and support healthcare integration engines (Rhapsody preferred; Cloverleaf, Mirth, Ensemble acceptable).\r\nTranslate business requirements into technical solutions for healthcare data exchange.\r\nCollaborate with internal and external teams to implement real-time and batch integration workflows.\r\nEnsure compliance with healthcare standards including HIPAA, HL7, and FHIR.\r\nTroubleshoot interface issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.\r\nCreate and maintain technical documentation for interfaces and data mappings.\r\nWork with provider data teams to integrate and normalize provider records across systems.\r\nRequired Qualifications 3+ years of experience in HL7 development and integration.\r\nStrong proficiency in HL7 v2.x (e.g., ADT, ORU, ORM) and FHIR standards.\r\nHands-on experience with Rhapsody or similar integration platforms (Cloverleaf, Mirth/NextGen Connect, Ensemble).\r\nSolid understanding of healthcare provider data structures and workflows.\r\nFamiliarity with APIs (REST, SOAP), XML, JSON, and healthcare data formats.\r\nExperience working with EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.\r\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\r\nPreferred Qualifications Experience with HL7 v3 and advanced FHIR implementations.\r\nBackground in healthcare interoperability and data normalization.\r\nFamiliarity with interface monitoring and alerting tools.\r\nEmail ID * This field is required Please enter valid emailId.
